Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn is an American TV and film actress. Since the age of 27 she has been performing as an outstanding actress. Her first professional role came as an off-Broadway production in The Big Funk, by John Patrick Shanley. In the following year she got her first role on TV in The Perfect Tribute. In 1992, she earned her breakthrough when she played as an extra character in the movie Basic Instinct. In The Firm, she played the role of lead female for the first time. The role was played by Tom Cruise and Gene Hackman. In 2007 she wasn't the champion of the Women's US Open but won her place in the Aldila Junior Classic to be the second. This was her first win in American Junior Golf Association.
